Diabetes

Diabetes Mellitus
Diabetes is a condition in which blood sugar stays above normal, because the body does not produce enough insulin or cannot use it properly. It can appear at any age and often goes unnoticed for years. In the appointment we look at the type of diabetes, diet, habits and treatment, and I follow each person over time, so that diabetes weighs as little as possible on their daily life.

Diabetes technology
Today there are sensors that measure blood sugar throughout the day and night, reducing the need for finger-prick tests, and systems that help to deliver insulin. These devices can make everyday life simpler, but they make most sense when they are well integrated into treatment. In the appointment we discuss the options that suit each person and review the sensor data together, in order to adjust treatment.
